Consultant Rheumatologist
Dr Hollingworth trained at Bristol Royal Infirmary in 1969 - 70. Thereafter he carried out his General Medical Training at Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford, Brompton Hospital and the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases until 1973.
Dr Hollingworth then carried out services abroad in Barbados until his return to the UK in 1976, where he continued his research work at the Clinical Research Centre, Northwick Park Hospital, Middlesex.
Specialist training in rheumatology was taken here and at Westminster, Charing Cross and St Stephen's Hospitals until 1982 when he was appointed Consultant Rheumatologist at North Bristol Trust (Southmead Hospital).
His areas of expertise include, amongst others,medical negligence and work - related pain.
